Mrs. Dixon, in her book entitled Too Black to Succeed – The FINSAC Experience, has given us a very heart-felt account of her experience of the impact of the FINSAC on herself and her family in a way that is not expressed by the analysts and political pundits. Very often the commentary and analysis do not capture the human story as it trots out statistics and political innuendos. The story clearly indicates that the FINSAC experience is not a nightmare from which one will wake up. Indeed, there are real victims who hurt and, in some cases, are maimed for life.
